A. Practical Training

As per curriculum designed by Pharmacy Council of India in ER 1991, the student pharmacist has to complete Part III of the course i.e. Practical training at hospital or pharmacy under registered Apprentice Master for not less than 500hrs. spreaded over not less than 3 months to acquire working knowledge of keeping records, practical experience in dispensing, storage of drugs. The institute strictly follows these criteria’s by conducting exams, monitoring and special counseling. The institute has specially developed a training workbook for practicing pharmacist. The main purpose of this training is to mould them to serve better for community.

B. Placement

The crowning glory of the institute has been coveted placements of its students. Placement is a way towards a successful career. Students with good technical ability, general awareness and overall personality attracts good perks and incentives. Taking view of all these parameter, the institute is making mandatory for all pass out students to attend Placement Programmes, since institute is spending heavily for arrangement and call of industries by arranging campus interviews. The various pharma companies are approaching us to absorb the students in marketing as well as production lines. The National and Multinational Pharma Companies like Surya Pharmaceuticals, Mayer Organics, Pharmaxx India, DWD Pharmaceuticals have placed our students in marketing field through the campus placement process.

C. Alumni

Passed past out students are the product of institute and still they are closely related with institute under alumni cell. The institute is trying to build it more stronger, since experience, knowledge and skill acquired by them is required to be shared with present students, therefore institute arranges programmes of EX students for the benefit of present students, to make the bond stronger for ever. The motto is advancing the Institute by developing and strengthening lifelong relationships between alumni and the Institute, by benefiting current and future alumni and friends, and by serving as a catalyst for communications and involvement.

Internal Sport Facility

Facilities exist for cricket, football, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, basketball, Chess along with a well equipped gymnasium. In addition to this the Institute also conduct Rangoli, Debate, Essay, Handwriting, Painting Competitions, in order to make students versatile in all respect.

Industry Visit

Besides academic curriculum the institute conduct Pharmaceutical Industrial visit for the students, which is more useful for them to gain practical knowledge about various process, techniques, marketing and administration. The skills obtained by them becomes advantages in their future life such programmes are conducted under Institute -Industry interaction cell.

Other Programmes

Parent Meeting :

Two parent meetings are conducted every year, one in each term. such interaction ‘between Institute, parent and students, strengthen the bond of cooperation for the benefit of students . The parents are informed about progress of students through SMS/Letter regarding attendance, sessional exams etc and any doubts, suggestions from parents are cleared.

Guest Lectures, Seminars :

Besides the academic syllabus, students are required to be fed up with booster doses like conduction of expert lectures from the eminent personality belonging to various fields of production, sale, regulatory affairs etc. Other programmes based on mind power development, alternative medicine therapy, personality development, patient care are always conducted, to make the students versatile in all respect. The institute also participate in “Desh- Raksha Bandhan Abhiyan” under socio-economical activity.
